For a very dark Pokemon style pixel work I give a very dark Pokedex entry:
Mouthhead: The Cannibal Pokemon. Ground Fighting. HT 7'3''. WT 700lbs. Pokedex entry: "They can shovel entire forests into their mouths before filling their stomachs. If two MOUTHHEADS meet, the pair will try to devour each other whole."
While Pokemon is what I thought of first, I must say on second thought it makes me think of sword and sorcery games for the Super Nintendo
Back in the olden days, monitors used to be limited to 256 colors. There were very specific colors, not just "256 of any colors you need". I always associate "pixel art" with that original color palette, but I realize technology has moved on. I was curious, because it looked like the colors you used might be from that original palette.
Thanks for your reply! 16 colors is very efficient for the amazing results you achieved.
